Shrill (the book it's based on is also great)


What did you want to be when you were small?

A Mortician. I was interested in makeup but I wanted to eradicate the possibility of a client giving negative feedback

What are your hobbies?

Drinking coffee, petting my cat, taking photos of my cat, window shopping, watching bad reality tv, designing

What is the worst gift you have received?

A hand-me-down car that ended up costing me thousands of dollars in repairs and a lot of stress


If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?

I would have the power to know the name and artist of any song

What's your favorite zoo animal?

I've been consistently fascinated with elephants for as long as I can remember

What's your favorite holiday?

Christmas — mostly for the decorating, but also who doesn't love presents?


What's the most daring thing you've ever done?

I impulsively changed my major, transferred to another school, and moved back home in the span of one afternoon (and it was probably the best decision I've ever made)

What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?

Liver Pâté and I was definitely not a fan

Do you collect anything?

Perfume bottles — consequently, I smell great
